Andean Wedding Celebration (Half Day)

Sacred Unification: An Andean Ceremony of Eternal Love

Overview

The Andean Wedding Ceremony is an ancestral rite with the purpose of bestowing the couple with love and wisdom, uniting their hearts for eternity. During this spiritual celebration, a Mother Earth Offering is performed as a gesture of gratitude to bind the loved ones in an indissoluble spiritual bond. Pachamama (Mother Earth), the Apus (Sacred Mountains), Inti (Sun), and Killa (Moon) stand as faithful witnesses, symbolizing the duality and unconditional love between them.

A magical experience to celebrate and reinforce love, intended for all couples, even those who are already married.

Itinerary

This unique wedding ceremony is the perfect opportunity to reconfirm the unification of souls as a couple, asking Pachamama to protect the couple so they may live forever in abundance, love, and happiness.

For this celebration, we will take private transportation to a special place in Umasbamba, close to Chinchero. The traditional Andean Wedding will be performed by two Q’eros Maestros. Upon arrival, everything will be ready for the ceremony, and an Andean music group will play beautiful music. The Paqos (Andean shamans) will perform a special ceremonial offering to Mother Earth with the purpose of showing gratitude and celebrating the union and love. They will also conduct a cleansing ritual with incense and floral essences. We will offer prayers for the blessing of the loved ones and then burn the offering, so it becomes one with the Earth. Later, we will have a small celebration before driving back to Cusco.

FAQ about the Andean Wedding

The Andean wedding features two Q’eros Maestros (Andean Priests), symbolizing duality with a male and female presence. These esteemed Andean priests lead rituals, prayers, and offerings, infusing the ceremony with profound meaning. The male maestro embodies strength and wisdom, while the female maestro represents nurture and intuition. This blend honors ancestral wisdom, enriching the couple’s union authentically. Beyond rituals, the maestros forge a connection to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and natural elements, elevating the ceremony’s significance. This interweaving of love, tradition, and spirituality creates a harmonious celebration that unites the couple’s journey with ancient wisdom and the natural world.

Before the ceremony, simply remember to wear comfortable clothes. If you have anything special you’d like to bring, such as personal items or items for blessing, or to place in the ceremonial offering to Mother Earth, feel free to bring them. Also, be prepared to participate in the special traditions and enjoy the day. If you have any questions or need assistance, we’re here to support you.
