Absolutely, our trek goes beyond typical tourism. At Nature Trips Peru, we prioritize authenticity. You’ll share meals with a local Andean family, gaining insight into their culture. Our spiritual guide delves into Inca history and Andean cosmovision, providing deep perspectives. To enhance the experience, we include a brief ancestral blessing— a ceremony to set intentions and connect with Pachamama, Mother Nature in Quechua. This adds a spiritual dimension, making your journey not just a trek but a meaningful exploration of culture and nature.
Waqrapukara, rooted in Inca history, served as a multi-purpose fortress, sanctuary, and observatory. Its strategic mountaintop location, intricate architecture, and the Quechua name “Horn Fortress” reflect its historical significance. Beyond its historical role, Waqrapukara holds spiritual importance for indigenous Andean communities and modern seekers alike. Acting as an astronomical observatory aligned with celestial events, it embodies a sacred connection with nature and ancient traditions, where the realms of the earthly and spiritual converge.
