Itinerary
In the early morning, around 4 am, we’ll pick you up for a journey to the local community of Q’eros, nestled in the Cusquenian province of Paucartambo. The drive will take approximately 4 hours. Before continuing our journey, we’ll make a stop in Paucartambo for a delightful local breakfast at the market. Upon reaching our destination, the Maestros will warmly greet us, and we’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch. Life in Q’eros unfolds at a unique pace, allowing us to thoroughly explore every corner of the community and gain insights into their customs and traditional way of life. Our Q’eros Shaman will provide an introduction to Andean Cosmovision and lead us in ancestral ceremonies. As evening descends, we’ll partake in dinner and retire early, aligning with the community’s practice of turning in when darkness falls.
Following a satisfying breakfast, our Q’eros shamanic healer will guide the next session, imparting ancient wisdom and delving into the profound significance of the Sacred Coca Leaf. Subsequently, we will engage in a personalized Coca Leaf Oracle Reading, providing insights into various aspects of life, including work, love, and health. The coca leaf serves as a symbolic bridge between the material and spiritual realms, playing a pivotal role in Andean ceremonies. After a hearty lunch, we’ll leisurely stroll to a tranquil spot surrounded by a river and mountains, where the shaman will perform cleansing rituals. Returning to the mountains, we’ll take a brief rest and finish the cleansing and forgiveness segment with a flower ceremony. The day ends with a nourishing dinner, followed by an early bedtime.
Today, after a delightful breakfast, we will end our Q’eros adventure with a Mother Earth Offering—a ceremony expressing gratitude. Following this, we will take our private 5-hour drive back to Cusco, where we will arrive in the afternoon.
